The Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) is the central information and advice point for aircrews and airline operators. Procurement, processing and notification of relevant (dynamic and static) data such as airspace restrictions, weather, NOTAM (Notice to Airmen), flyover and landing permissions, etc., are necessary for the safe, organised and smooth running of flights.
