As a responsible air navigation service provider, skyguide and all its subsidiaries are committed to ensuring the highest, practicable level of safety. In skyguide's Safety Policy, the CEO and the Chief Safety Officer (CSO) commit themselves to ensuring that the priority of safety is considered in all of the organisation's business decisions and resultant business activities, such that skyguide can minimise its contribution to all safety risks.

The high-level document "Safety Policy" focuses on:

  • the roles and responsibilities of skyguide's CEO, the Chief Safety Officer (CSO) and of all staff commensurate with their business responsibilities
  • the introduction of a just culture
  • the management of all safety risks
  • the efficiency and practicality of the SMS, and
  • the compliance to national and international safety regulations.
