Applying to train as air traffic controller
Does your profile correspond to our selection criteria? Do you have all the information you need to know about the training and profession of air traffic controller? If the answer is “yes”, we are looking forward to receiving your application.

Lasting 2.5 years, remunerated and flexible, training as air traffic controller in the Skyguide Training Centre in Dübendorf near Zurich prepares you fully to undertake the important responsibilities of the profession.
Are you interested in applying for training? This is how to proceed:
1. Have your vision tested
Please print out the form below and have your vision tested by an optician or ophthalmologist, then send us the form by post. You may prefer to scan the form and send it to us via e-recruitment (see point 3).
2. Prepare the documents to be downloaded:
- Passport photograph
- Photocopy of your birth certificate or “livret de famille” (including proof of your Swiss citizenship) and, if applicable, residence permit
- Photocopy of your school reports from high school or apprenticeship
- Photocopy of completion of apprenticeship, high school graduation, and employment certificates
- CV in form of an essay
- Optician’s certificate (see point 1)
3. Application by e-recruitment
- Register directly with our recruitment platform (this takes approximately 25 minutes)

4. Confirmation
As soon as you register on our recruitment platform, we will send you an email with your login details. After having completed your application, you will need to activate it so you'll receive another email confirming the transmission of your application.
