Our Air Navigation Services Employees play a key role in the safe and efficient handling of air traffic.

They work primarily in Air Traffic Management (ATM) and in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), where they provide services to various stakeholders of the Swiss aviation branch (airlines, pilots, airports authorities, air traffic controllers, etc.).

Requirements for applying:

  • Baccalaureate (Matura) or completion of commercial/technical vocational training
  • Work experience in the aviation sector, preferably in the area of 24/7 operations, would be an advantage. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in Aviation (ZHAW)
  • High customer focus
  • Team player with analytical and logical thinking skills and sense of responsibility
  • Ability to maintain calm and overview in challenging situations and to perform flawless work
  • Willingness to participate in the ANSE basic course (5 weeks, partly on-site in Dübendorf) and in the internal training courses
  • Willingness to work irregular hours (24/7)
  • IT affinity to work in a computerized environment
  • Good command of German or French and English (level B2)
  • Aeronautical information management: additionally, good command of French (level B1)

 

Additional requirements for applying (flight information centre):

  • ANSE basic training – according to the B1.2 ANSE Initial Training Plan or
  • ATCO basic training – according to the B1.2 ATCO Initial Training Plan or
  • FISO basic training – according to the B01 FISO Basic Training Process and content and completion of the radiotelephony (RTF) course or private pilot licence (PPL) theory course.
